Brief:
We were briefed by wagamama to help build brand awareness and raise the profile of the new flagship wagamama restaurant within Heathrow Terminal 5. Digital totems had been considered as part of the installation, so wagamama looked to us to provide technical consultancy and create engaging branded content.
Insight:
The location of the restaurant meant that passing trade was minimal, while competition from other big restaurant brands was strong.
Solution:
We designed and developed innovative touch-screen content, including an interactive menu which allowed customers to discover everything they wanted to know about wagamama, from the dining concept, menu, flavours and ingredients, to the location of wagamama stores all over the globe. We also created a mood film for the top third of the totems, which provided a compelling ‘window’ into the restaurant beyond.
Result:
The content proved successful in attracting customers to the restaurant, and wagamama have since commissioned us to create a number of content updates.
