Client: Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

Project: Phantom e-Learning

Brief:

To create an electronic learning programme which provides Rolls-Royce Motor Cars dealers across the globe with interactive training on the Phantom range of cars. The programme should avoid the conventional method of ‘tell and test’ and offer a more grown-up approach to learning.

Insight:

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars dealers are likely to dismiss learning techniques which do not instantly engage them.

Solution:

We wanted to shake up the traditional approach to e-learning and create a flexible, non-linear programme with various levels of information which the dealer could explore at will. In order to engage dealers, we peppered the programme with relevant quotes, anecdotes and filmed interviews, which explained features, concepts and processes in tangible terms. Testing of dealers was deliberately minimal to reflect the new ‘grown-up’ approach; however integrated tracking enabled our client to remotely monitor uptake and usage.

Result:

Initially released to English-speaking markets, we are currently working on Japanese and Chinese versions of the programme.
