Project: 21st Century Legends film series
Brief:
To produce a series of films to reinforce Rolls-Royce Motor Cars as the epitome of a cool modern luxury brand. Working closely with the brand team alongside agency PAA, our brief was to create mystery, intrigue and drama and to bring the storytelling narrative to life with a contemporary filming style.
Solution:
A complex shooting schedule was created, using the Red camera to achieve the very highest production quality, combined with sophisticated directorial techniques. The films blended storytelling with subtle brand messaging - creating a new and unique series for this innovative programme of prospect communication and brand repositioning.
Result:
Initially released to selected prospects as part of a DM campaign, the films were subsequently watched and commented upon by tens of thousands all over the world on YouTube and on the dedicated campaign website. Although it is hard to prove a direct impact on sales, the number of Rolls-Royce cars purchased in 2010 soared by 171% on the previous year. View the series at: www.21stcenturylegends.com
